Attorney
John Costello joined Khazaeli Wyrsch LLC in September 2025 as a paralegal and law assistant. A longtime member of the St. Louis community, John worked for many years at his family’s coffeehouse, MoKaBe’s, before returning to the legal field and joining KW.
John is passionate about supporting immigrants in their journey to build a home in America and assisting the firm’s attorneys in their advocacy work. With a strong background in civil rights and wrongful-conviction cases, he has contributed to several exonerations of wrongfully convicted individuals and continues to dedicate time to justice reform efforts.
Outside of work, John enjoys baking, watching Cardinals baseball, and spending time with his wife, Laurell, and their daughter, Lydia.
